Are you a business in Apple Valley, Victorville, Hesperia, Lucerne Valley, or Adelanto that would like to help as a drop-off/collection site for donated pet food and items?  We need you!  Please email us or call us at 760.515.2650.

Would you like to provide a warmth and comfort for an animal in need?  For only $22.50, you can have a pet bed sent straight to us!  Pet Beds go straight out into the community, for in-need animals.

Animal Rescue Aid is making this very generous program possible.  Please follow this link,   and type  MOJAVE DESERT ANIMAL RESCUE  in the comments section during checkout.  Our goal is to give every pet of a homeless guardian a comfortable, durable bed!  

Our Needs List: (items with an * are urgently needed

Please CLEARLY mark all bags "MDAR" before dropping off. Thanks!
  • Large Backpacks:  Homeless pet guardians carry everything WITH them, and wear out their backpacks regularly.   New or in VERY good condition. *
  • Dewormer:  We like to feed pets, not internal parasites!  *
  • Gas Cards:  Getting food and supplies out to the areas in need--is expensive! Gas cards to Mobile, AM/PM, Costco, Valero, etc. are MOST welcome!  *
  • Pet Grooming:  Flea combs, brushes, ear mite remedies. 
  • Wire Dog Crates: Small to Extra Large Size  *
  • Toys: Must be new due to health issues. Tennis balls, Kongs, tugs, kitty toys,  Nylabones, etc. 
  •  
  • Dog Beds and COVERED cat litter boxes, NEW. 
  • Flea and Tick Products: Sprays, powders, topical treatments, and premise treatments. *
  • Bottled Water: Cases and gallon bottles. Must be sealed for health reasons. 
  • Collars and Leashes: Collars, SMALL and EXTRA SMALL Collars must be new due to health issues.  Leads may be new,  or gently used.  
  • Harnesses:  LARGE DOG SIZES are desperately needed! *
  • Guardian Support!  We do like to help homeless pet guardians as well!  Donations of new socks,  winter coats,  mittens/gloves, winter scarves, sweatshirts and new MEN'S thermal underwear (winter is VERY cold here!) are all most welcome! No rips, tears, stains, broken zippers, etc.* 

PLEASE NOTE!: The ONLY clothing donations we accept are for items listed above!

  • Chap stick, sunscreen, first aid, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, disposable razors, feminine hygiene, Q-tips, toothpaste/brushes, combs, antiperspirant, etc.  All items must be UNOPENED due to health regulations. 
  • Tents, camping supplies. Tents take a fierce beating in our desert climate and heavy winds. Sleeping bags, Coleman stoves/small propane bottles, batteries, flashlights *

 We are also in need of large Rubbermaid containers, rolling clothing racks, and industrial shelving.
