Desert Animal Rescue is recognized as a 501(c)3 charitable organization
by the Internal Revenue Service.
When needed, MDAR's founder and director- a seasoned veterinary technician and animal welfare advocate, participates in animal rescue work on a national level, assisting with animal cruelty, hoarding, abandonment, and natural disaster emergencies. Our current projects include: (but are not limited to) ~The first permanent pet food bank in the high desert, providing food, leads, collars, and other needed items to homeless pet guardians, as well as to those experiencing financial difficulties in our tough economy. ~Adoption services and networking to find furr-ever homes for high desert pets. ~Implementing a spay/neuter/vaccination services for the pets of homeless guardians. (We are working VERY hard to get all animals in Rammstein's Memorial Food Bank Program spayed/neutered.)
